Reel service and repair 

Here at BMF we have been servicing and repairing reels for over 10 years for those in the know. We are now offering this service to the rest of you. Preferably we would like this service to be drop off and collect to keep costs at a minimum. However we understand that isn't feasible for everyone, so we will do postal orders with the additional charge of postage. 
Prices start from as little as £10 per reel for a basic clean and service.

Butt cap etching

Want to give you off the shelf rods a personal touch? Why not add some custom butt caps to your rods. There are two options for this service: 

1 Bring us your butt section and we will remove your caps, customise them and replace them. 
2 Send us the measurements of your caps and we will order and customise some new ones for you. However this will require you to remove and replace your own butt caps. 

All caps are painted to the colour of your choice, laser etched and lacquered to protect them from the elements and minor scuffs and scrapes.

Rod handle laser etching

This service is strictly drop off and pick up only due to the extortionate cost of postage! 

Add a small personal touch to your rods with laser etched handles. This can be script or small simple images. Line, silhouette and vector images work best. The image or script is laser carved into your handle, so be warned this is permanent and the only way to remove it is to replace the handle. Having said that this makes your rods permanently unique, meaning that they are harder to shift if the worst should happen and they are stolen!  

Prices start from £15 per image.
